Our new title 'NO!' is a greatly entertaining read for all. According to the recent review by the Bookbag this is a story that is accessible enough for little ones to enjoy, but also funny enough to appeal to older children (and adults too!).
This debut picture book comes from a new face at Child's Play- Marta Altes. Marta recently graduated from an MA in Children's Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art and already shows great talent and promise as an author/illustrator.
'NO!' tells the humorous story of a lovable family pet who is desperate to please his owners and gain their love and approval. However he is blissfully unaware that all he is really doing is causing havoc and making their lives more difficult! Adults and children alike will love the ironic joke that surrounds the mystery of his name.
As the Bookbag review makes clear, this book will appeal to everyone, whether or not they have a pet of their own.
