Bag Books is the only organisation in the world publishing multi-sensory stories for people with profound learning disabilities. Each year we reach around 15,000 children and adults with learning disabilities. Bag Books helps to enrich the lives and support the learning and development of children and adults with the most severe learning disabilities.

Booktrust is an independent UK-wide charity dedicated to encouraging people of all ages and cultures to enjoy books. Booktrust aims to make a national impact encouraging positive attitudes to books, reading for pleasure and family reading, by providing book gifts for children, resources and targeted campaigns.

Books for Keeps
The UK's leading, independent children's book magazine. It was launched in 1980 and ever since has been reviewing hundreds of new children's books each year and publishing articles on every aspect of writing for children.

National Literacy Association
The NLA works with children and young people who are underachieving in literacy. It works in partnership with a range of organisations to promote awareness of and support children's literacy needs.

The National Literacy Trust

READathon is a charity that runs the UK's biggest sponsored reading campaign. It provides a stimulating focus for recreational reading and raises money for seriously ill children.

The Reading Agency
The aim of The Reading Agency is to encourage more children to read more, reaching over one million children by 2013, and to be the organisation that has the tools and partnerships that can get young people fired up and engaged with reading and literacy.
