'No' seems unstoppable!

Once again we are celebrating the sucess of 'No' by Marta Altes. This time it joins the shortlist for the Cambridgeshire Libraries 'Read it Again!' award, which launched on World Book Day- 1st March 2012.
The scheme was created to recognise and celebrate the talent of debut author/illustrators whose first books are solely their own creations, rather than the result of a collaborative project. Once selected, the short list is then circulated to thousands of Cambridgeshire children via their schools and libraries who then vote for their favourites. This is a great way to get children involved in and excited about books and reading, creating opportunities for them to discuss their opinions of each title and consider what they think makes a good book.
The winner, chosen from the shortlist of 8 titles, will later be announced at a prize ceremony in June. It seems this book is on a winning, or at least shortlist, streak so fingers crossed!
