Julia Groves
Julia originally studied Fine Art printmaking at Brighton University. In 2014, she graduated from the prestigious Cambridge School of Art, MA in Children’s Book Illustration. Animal Babies, Julia’s first series of baby books published by Child’s Play, was nominated forthe Progressive Pre-School awards and received a starred Kirkus Review in the USA. Rainforest, her first picture book, also published by Child’s Play, received an Outstanding Merit in the Best Children’s Books of the Year list from Bank Street College of Education, NYC. Julia also works as a college lecturer, teaching illustration, graphics and printmaking. She lives in Norwich with her arty and musical family
